Manufactured in an interlock braiding from glass fibre cores encased by Pure e-PTFE . This is a special high performance duplex braided interlock packing offering the ideal balance between density, resilience , compressibility, strength and durability . Each and every yarn of glass fibre encased by e-PTFE has desirable properties: high mechanical strength, abrasion and pressure resistance from the glass fibre core and the superior chemical resistance, self lubrication and low coefficient of friction from the external e-PTFE jacket. This is a soft and flexible packing being non-abrasive and also gentle on the shaft.
