HOLLOW CORE PACKINGS

We manufacture various fibre braided packings with a specialized silicone rubber SOLID/HOLLOW core. The silicone core enhances the resilience and memory of the packing ,helping the packing in maintaining its original shape. The composition of the specialized silicone core is such that it can resist chemicals upto [pH 3] and alkaline upto [pH12] . Hollow/SOLID Core packings are specifically designed to seal large rotating equipment like mixers and agitators. This specialized packing is not only high pressure resistant but also has self adjustment properties with minimum gland adjustment. Testing has proven that a high quality braided packing with a silicone rubber core will outlast conventional packing in applications associated with excessive shaft deflection on large shafts.
